LAS VEGAS/GRAND CANYON/ALBUQUERQUE

Day 1: ARRIVE DENVER
Arrive Denver and meet your Western Leisure Guide; enjoy a tour of the "Mile High City" including the Denver Mint; this evening, join the group for a welcome dinner.
Day 2: DENVER - MOAB
Depart Denver and travel west through the Rocky Mountains; with a rest stop along the way; arrive Grand Junction for lunch on own; then enter Utah and make your way to Dead Horse Point State Park for one of the most spectacular views in the west; this evening arrive in the town of Moab and check in for a two night stay.
DAY 3: ARCHES - RAFTING
This morning take a short drive to Arches National Park for sightseeing and optional hiking; then return to Moab with free time; after lunch, enjoy a half day Scenic Float Trip by raft; you will experience the power of the mighty Colorado River while viewing the magnificent canyons it has carved over the centuries; this evening travel to the Red Cliffs Adventure Lodge in Professor Valley for a wonderful dinner in a truly western setting.
DAY 4: MONUMENT VALLEY - LAKE POWELL
Depart and enter the Navajo Nation and arrive at historic Goulding's Lodge for a Navajo Taco lunch; then meet your Navajo guide and board a 4WD vehicle for a scenic tour of Monument Valley. In the late afternoon, depart and travel to another scenic wonder, Lake Powell; tonight you are in for a treat as you board the beautiful Canyon Princess for a Sunset Dinner Cruise.
DAY 5: BRYCE CANYON - ZION
This morning depart Lake Powell and travel west; then arrive Bryce Canyon National Park for sightseeing; after a stop for lunch, travel to nearby Zion National Park for sightseeing; the free shuttle system allows travelers to explore the sheer canyon walls and vibrant colors at their own pace; after time for touring, check into your hotel just outside the park in Springdale.
DAY 6: LAS VEGAS
Depart Springdale with a rest stop in St. George; then cross the Nevada desert and arrive in the "Entertainment Capitol of the World," Las Vegas!; after a drive down the famous Las Vegas Strip; the afternoon and evening are free to explore all that Las Vegas has to offer.
DAY 7: GRAND CANYON WEST
Depart Las Vegas and enter Arizona with a rest stop in Kingman; then drive through Joshua Tree Forest on the way to the Hualapai Indian Reservation and Grand Canyon West for a new and different perspective of the Grand Canyon; first you will have the opportunity to experience the newest attraction in the area, the Grand Canyon Skywalk; in the afternoon depart returning to Kingman and then on to Williams and Grand Canyon National Park; check into your hotel for a two night stay.
DAY 8: GRAND CANYON
This morning enjoy touring of Grand Canyon National Park; one of the great natural wonders of the world; the rest of the day is free to explore Grand Canyon on your own; there are many options including flight tours, Imax Theater, hiking, or just to relax and enjoy the scenery.
DAY 9: FLAGSTAFF - ALBUQUERQUE
Depart Grand Canyon and travel south, then turn east on I-40 traveling the same route as historic Route 66 with a rest stop in Flagstaff; after lunch enter the "The Land of Enchantment," New Mexico; travel to Albuquerque and check into your hotel in historic Old Town with some free time to browse the many shops and art galleries; this evening, gain a commanding view of Albuquerque as you climb to the top of Sandia Peak on the Sandia Peak Tramway for dinner.
DAY 10: HOME
Morning transfers to the airport have been arranged.
